Cape sorrel (Oxalis pes-caprae) a native to South Africa and introduced to Australia in 1841 and declared a noxious weed soon after in the 1850’s. In South Australia it is known by the name of Soursob due to its pleasantly sour taste. Here it mingles with next seasons wine grapes in McLaren Vale, South Australia.
